Firefighters Africa made its debut in Nigeria on March 8th, with four successful outreaches to widows, orphanages, and local schools. The organization's efforts were recognised by renowned news outlets, including Arise TV, making it a resounding success.

Our Story

Miriam's visit to Nigeria left her with a deep sense of compassion for the poor children, widows, and vulnerable people in Africa, many of which she saw on the streets whilst travelling from the airport to the City of Abuja. She knew she had to do something to help Through networking and reaching out to other charities, she replicated the UK Firefighters initiative in Nigeria in March 2024. This initiative has gained widespread attention and has been featured in African news and media, bringing much-needed assistance to those in need.
