Our aim is to bring about social change by 'Extinguishing the flames' of injustice, poverty, hardship, social isolation, prejudice and fear.

When a building is on fire, you call the fire-brigade, but who do you call when there is a crisis in your personal life?

Firefighters is a group of local volunteers from various backgrounds and walks of life who help to build a bridge between the needs of the communities we live in and the people who supply those needs, whether it be ourselves or networking organisations.
​
We all get lonely, struggle, feel isolated and forgotten.
Our goal is to be available 24-7 for those who want support in their hour of need
